It’s your right to know how others are using your PC and internet connection. In Internet Explorer, user can remove all browsing traces from a computer using the “Clear history” button. When you suspect someone is using your computer for malicious or immoral purposes, you can remove this button as an option.
Removing the clear history button can be accomplished with a basic tweak of your system registry. But I must warn you that the registry is a crucial part of your system and messing around with it is dangerous. Do it on your own risk.
- Open the “Start” menu and click on the “Run” button.
- Type in “regedit” and press “Enter.”
- Open the following directories in order: “HKEY_CURRENT_USER,” “Software,” “Policies,” “Microsoft,” “Internet Explorer,” “Control Panel.”
